DOMESTIC DISCO
Opening Reception:
Friday, March 20th, 5-7 PM
In deeply disorienting times, Domestic Disco frames attention as a practice. Reflection (both literal and perceptual) becomes a means of reckoning. When has the call been louder to look closely at ourselves, at how we show up for one another, and at the ripples we create?
Here, disco is not escape but method: a way of loosening fixed viewpoints, inviting movement, and expanding awareness. Reflective objects and functional artworks animate the interior like a quiet dance floor. Light fractures.
Bodies multiply. Space shifts.
Mirrors, prismatic surfaces, and shimmering forms reconfigure everyday use into heightened states of attentiveness, embedding perception directly into function. From this dance, the domestic interior emerges as a site of alertness,
play, and possibility.
